NCAM mourns the passing of Rhonda (Ronny) Zinner, President of The Carl and Ruth Shapiro Family Foundation.
It is with great sadness that we share with you the news and reflect on the passing of Rhonda (Ronny) Zinner, President of The Carl and Ruth Shapiro Family Foundation. Carl and Ruth Shapiro's eldest daughter, Ronny was a great champion of NCAM, and she oversaw the family foundation's generous support for our work.
Ronny was a godsend to organizations all over Massachusetts which serve people with disabilities. She loved the arts, was dedicated to inclusive education and wanted to be sure everyone had the opportunity to share our cultural heritage regardless of ability. WGBH established the Carl and Ruth Shapiro Family National Center for Accessible Media (NCAM) to focus our efforts on what mattered to Ronny most - equality of opportunity and access. Her vision - and her heart - continues to guide us.
