Geoff Freed, NCAM Director of Technology Projects and Web Media Standards.
Geoff has been involved in broadcast-, Web- and multimedia-accessibility initiatives for more than 25 years. He contributed to, and is an authority on, Section 508 regulations and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, and has evaluated the accessibility of hundreds of Web sites and software applications. He frequently consults on accessibility issues with a wide range of clients.

Bryan Gould, NCAM Director of Accessible Learning and Assessment Technologies.
Bryan conducts blindness-related research and is spearheading efforts to implement guidelines-based methods of embedding image descriptions (alt text) in digital books, online curriculum, and online high-stakes assessments. Having authored definitive image description guidelines, he has trained thousands of individuals to created high-quality text alternatives to images.

Madeleine Rothberg, NCAM Senior Subject Matter Expert
Madeleine is expert in access solutions for users with disabilities, both through directly accessible solutions such as captions, talking software and audio description, and through improvements to infrastructure through standards efforts. Madeleine led efforts to create the IMS/ISO Access for All standard, now in use for assessment within the Accessible Portable Item Protocol (APIP), and contributed to the National Instructional Materials Accessibility Standard (NIMAS).
