ccPlayer version 2.1.1 is now available.

In addition to the CCforFlash component, NCAM has created a flexible media player which incorporates a CCforFlash component. If you are not handy with Flash programming but want to embed a Flash-based media player on your Web page, ccPlayer may be sufficient. ccPlayer contains many built-in accessibility features for screen-reader and keyboard users and comes in two versions:

  • ccPlayerAS3 – ActionScript 3 version, requires Flash Player 9 and above
  • ccPlayer - original ActionScript 2 version, Flash Player 8 and above (plays flv video only)
Funding for Flash ccPlayer was provided jointly by NCAM and Westat, as part of its Accessibility Information Bureau Resources. Additional funding for ccPlayer 2.1.1 was provided by the U.S. Department of Energy's National Training and Education Resource.
